An identity that is computed rather than drawn
Identity systems · Aegis Security · 2026
The generator ships as a service. Marketing types a string, the mark comes back as SVG with the construction geometry attached, and the same string a year later returns the identical file.
Determinism was the whole argument. A generative identity that cannot be reproduced is a novelty; one that can is an asset with a version number.
The challenge
A security firm with the usual shield-and-serif mark, competing against forty firms with the same one. The brand needed to communicate that the product is alive and watching, using a system a two-person marketing team could operate without a designer on call.
The approach
The mark is a Voronoi tessellation seeded from a hash. Same input, same mark, every time — so it is reproducible and auditable, which a security client cares about more than a design one. Different input, a different mark, drawn from a space of about ten million. The cell walls carry the accent; everything else sits back.
